Lately we've been having talks at night. I'll ask you what you liked about the day and what made you sad. Today nothing made you sad!!! You must have had a great day! But the real reason I posted this today is what we did at talks. I reminded you that tomorrow was Sunday and that we needed to be reverent and talk quietly at church. You said: "no, we need to talk LOUD!!!" I said again "no we need to talk QUIETLY!!" And I said quietly super loud. It made you laugh so hard. So I did it again and again but with different words. It made us both laugh and laugh so hard. It took your breath away a couple times. I think it was totally the opposite of what you expected me to say, so it was funny.
You are seriously the cutest little boy ever. I can't even get over how cute you are. You are the favorite of everyone. You teachers at church, your aunts and uncles on both sides, your friends. You are just cute and fun and so FUNNY! You say the cutest things. I need to get your voice recorded so you'll be able to hear how darn cute you always talked. With your missing tooth you have a little whistle in your 's' words. It is so cute and I don't ever want it to change.
We did this little track meet yesterday that was a blast. You were really excited to put on your running shoes and participate. I was excited to see you in action! We got there and you and Amber had to be split up because the race was based off age groups. You started at the jump event. You had to jump as far as you could on the mat. I really didn't think you'd participate without Amber, and without my help. When they called your name, you were so super shy and wanted me right there with you. I told you I was going to take your picture, and started to walk away to the other end. I pulled out the camera and barely had enough time to snap these pictures:
I mean look at how cute you are? I was so happy I got these pictures in time. I was so proud of you.
Second place! Well done! You took first place in the long run, and second place in the short run. You also took 2nd place in the jump. You were seriously so cute. I loved watching you. You had a great time too. You may have a future in athletics!
