Funny comment of the day

We were eating lunch after church today, and I stretched while you started telling me who taught your primary lesson. You stopped mid sentence, scrunched up your nose and turned your head to the side and said "did you not stretch in your bed?"

We went back to school shopping yesterday, just the two of us. You were so cute and so excited to go. I had taken Amber earlier, and when she and I were ready to go, you got upset and said "I want to go with mommy!" Dad was going to the dump, and you wanted to go with me, and Amber wanted to go with Dad. You were both upset! But I took you after I had taken Amber, and we had so much fun. We saw this bright orange down vest hanging up, and you said "hey mom, look we could get that for Grandpa and Grandma's boat!" You thought it was a life jacket! It was so cute. We went through all the isles and I let you pick out everything. I decided not to get you anything without you approving, because I did that last time and you don't like any of it! You rotate between your batman shirt, your spiderman shirt, and your star wars shirt. We bought a lot of motorcycle shirts, a drum shirt, and a dozer shirt. I think you'll be happy to wear them all! We did get you a little blue down vest that you were so excited about, and even more excited to match daddy. You also picked out some camo pants. You'll be one stylin' pre-schooler! Speaking of which, you are so excited to start pre-school. Mandy will be your teacher. You picked out a Spiderman backpack that rolls (it is as big as you!). I tried to talk you out of it (it is seriously huge) but you loved it the second you saw it, so there was no chance you'd change your mind.

You seriously bring me so much joy. I love every single thing you say. You crack me up daily and always bring a smile to my face. You give the sweetest looks and expressions, and you talk so cute. Everyone who meets you loves you instantly. You are going to love preschool and I know you'll do so well there!
